Who it’s for: Poker players, outlaws & people that want their friends to hate them
Plays: 2-8 players, 30-40 minutes
Want to be the most notorious outlaw bandit in all the land? Well then Most Wanted might be right up your alley! In this game you’re playing simplified poker hands where the winner gets to rob the pony express, stagecoach or train. Successful robberies grant you notoriety (points) and the first player to claim enough points to garner the title of “most wanted” wins the game. As with poker there is a lot of bluffing in this game, trying to figure out if it is worth it for you to participate in a robbery or if someone else is likely to beat you to the loot.
What works well with Most Wanted is that it can play with a fairly large group without any player being able to fall too far behind where their actions don’t matter anymore, you can always surprise someone and sabotage them if you play your hand right. Even if you have no idea how poker works this game is still fairly easy to learn and you might even learn a thing or two about poker if it has always eluded you.
